How could help a homeless person?

Is there any government programs for homeless people. How could find about in your local area.

You must be careful about helping homeless people.

i tried to help one and it blew up in my face. He took me for everything he possibly could take me for. Milked me for all i was worth. It was a ton of stress on me and my family(mental and financial stress).

So, while you are being a good friend and doing a *good deed*, please be careful and don’t get used and don’t get taken advantage of!
