Am I the only one appalled by Nike Sharapova to 70 million?

During a time when life is difficult for most Americans faithfully to buy their shoes, which chose to give 70 million dollars to someone who is already running in the money and is another country all together. I do not understand how they think this is supposed to be beautiful when there are many Americans unemployed, homeless and drowning in financial difficulties. I think what disturbs me most is that this money really help someone in need or has invested in American Tennis Program, where our children here could get scholarships in tennis and to promote growth of the sport. give someone another country is not what I had in mind after years of buying their shoes. I understand that athletes do sponsor and part of it. But $ 70 million. How do you feel about it?
