I am not a senior yet, but when the two dogs that are no longer with me decided that I will adopt an adult dog. I think it's a great solution for seniors who still want a dog, but is limited in what they can do in terms of exercise and training. My suggestion is to promote as much as possible. If I knew of an organization close to my house, definitely go for the first time when I'm ready. What about schools? The children have grandparents.
